A celebration is never complete without ice cream! And Mahoning Valley Historical Society is dedicating a whole day to the delicious treat. Sunday, July 20 is National Ice Cream Day, and MVHS is offering a fun filled day with free admission from 12:00pm-4:00pm at Tyler History Center. Arms Family Museum will be closed, as all activities will be held at Tyler History Center. Visitors will enjoy the nostalgic vocals of Exhibit A barbershop quartet, a sweet treats tour including information about Good Humor and its founder, Harry Burt, and the opportunity to make ice cream in the same building that created the famous ice cream sucker! This event is sponsored by the Joy Baking Group, and free ice cream is sponsored by Livi Steel.
