Kick off the holiday season with the timeless classic for the whole family. Join Ballet Western Reserve as they tell the enchanting story of Clara, Toy Soldiers, the Mouse Queen, and the Sugar Plum Fairy. Performances of The Nutcracker will be Saturday, December 6 at 7:00pm, and Sunday, December 7 at 2:30pm at the DeYor Performing Arts Center.
Accompanied by a live symphony orchestra performing the famous Tchaikovsky score, Ballet Western Reserve’s talented cast of dancers take you through a magical journey as Clara’s Nutcracker doll comes to life on Christmas Eve and wages a battle against the evil Mouse Queen.
The story continues through the snowy pine forest, a greeting from the beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy, and a culmination of dancing in the Land of the Sweets. Don’t miss out on the magic!
