Mahoning Valley Railroad Heritage Association was formed in 1985 to preserve the railroading history of the Mahoning Valley in Ohio, which includes the Youngstown/Warren metropolitan area. Since the steel industry was the dominant industry in the area, steel industry is the major focus of the association. They have several railroad cars used in the mills, including two that were built in Youngstown, along with other railroad cars that were used in the area.
