Spanning 11 miles through the scenic landscapes of Mahoning County, the Mill Creek MetroParks Bikeway is a paved, multi-use trail perfect for cyclists, walkers, runners, and skaters. Whether you’re seeking a relaxing stroll or an energizing ride, this popular destination offers a great spot for an outdoor walk in the summer or a fantastic way to enjoy colorful foliage in the fall.
The MetroParks Bikeway stretches from Western Reserve Road in Canfield Township to the Trumbull County line in Austintown Township, where it connects to the Niles Greenway, creating a larger network for extended exploration. It has three trailheads, The Kirk Road Trailhead, the Mahoning Avenue Trailhead, and the MetroParks Farm Trailhead, making it easy to start your adventure from different locations. The trail includes amenities such as restrooms, picnic spots, and informational signs that provide insights into the surrounding natural and historical features.
The MetroParks Bikeway will be part of the 100-mile Great Ohio Lake-to-River Greenway, allowing trail users to travel from Lake Erie to the Ohio River.
Note: Dogs are permitted on the bike trail and its trailheads.

MetroParks Farm Trailhead
The MetroParks Farm Trailhead, located off Western Reserve Road across from the Canfield Fairgrounds, shares a parking lot with MetroParks Farm — a 400-acre space dedicated to conserving and preserving natural resources and habitats. Visitors can enjoy hiking and fishing, with convenient amenities including parking, public restrooms, and drinking water.
