Located north of Youngstown State University, Wick Park includes an indoor pavilion, an open-air picnic pavilion, a playground, a 9-hole disc golf course, two tennis courts, and a jogging/walking path with fitness stations. Indoor Pavilion
The indoor pavilion at Wick Park is the largest and most spacious rental facility managed by the city, accommodating up to 75 guests. Ideal for family functions, celebrations, and special occasions, it features a full kitchen with two refrigerators, a commercial oven, ample counter space, air conditioning, restrooms, and a small stage for entertainment or speaking. Guests can also enjoy the adjoining open-air covered pavilion. The facility is handicap accessible. Both the indoor pavilion and its open-air picnic pavilion require reservations prior to use.
Playground
The playground at Wick Park offers a fun and safe space for children to explore and play, surrounded by the park's scenic 34-acre setting. With modern equipment and plenty of room to run, it's a favorite spot for families to enjoy quality time outdoors.
9-Hole Disc Golf Course
The 9-hole disc golf course at Wick Park winds through the mature trees of this historic park on Youngstown, Ohio's North Side. The 3,912-foot course features a mix of flat terrain, natural tees, and challenging hole lengths.

Fitness Stations
Thanks to a collaboration between Youngstown State University Campus Recreation and the Healthy Community Partnership’s Community Recreation, the walking path now features fitness stations with newly installed signage. Each station includes QR codes and picture demonstrations to guide users safely using the equipment, offering virtual, verbal, and image-based instructions. These resources enhance comfort and confidence, making it easier for park visitors to incorporate fitness routines into their outdoor experience.
Wick Park Neighborhood
Wick Park is the centerpiece of the Wick Park Historic District. Once home to the city's wealthiest business leaders and professionals during the early 20th century, the district is often compared to Cleveland's Millionaire's Row for its grand houses and affluent residents. While some original mansions remain, many have been repurposed, with Youngstown State University utilizing several for administrative purposes. The district's rich history and architectural charm continue to make it a significant part of Youngstown's heritage.
